On Hinge one day, a match was made,
With one sweet message that Jonathan laid:
“Your smile’s adorable,” he said with delight,
And soon they were chatting morning to night.
They met at Sparrow, a cozy first date—
He saw her smile, and that sealed his fate.
She saw his kindness, his charm shining through,
And thought, “This one’s different… maybe it’s true.”
He asked her out the very next day,
But she had to fly—half a world away!
Still, they made it work (because love always tries),
And soon he was lost in her laughter and eyes.
He fell for her fast—her heart, her bright spark,
Her humor, her faith, how she lights up the dark.
Her love for adventure, her beautiful brain,
A partner in joy, in sunshine, in rain.
She loved his warm heart and his soft, steady gaze,
His jokes, and how he brightens her days.
With him, she found laughter, with him, she found grace,
And someone who’s always up for a chase.
So here we are now, with hearts intertwined,
A love full of joy, by God's own design.
From a message online to a future so true—
We can't wait to celebrate this love, with you!

Jonathan knew within a couple months of meeting Victoria that he had to marry her. With her whole family meeting in Ohio for Christmas, he knew he had the perfect opportunity to propose.
On Christmas Eve, Jonathan lured Victoria and the rest of her family to Main Street in Tipp City under the guise of singing carols in front of the town Christmas tree. As everyone was (slightly uncomfortably) singing, a couple walked up from behind the group and joined in. Jonathan's parents had driven from Chicago to witness the proposal.
Just before Victoria had a chance to turn around and see them, Jonathan dropped to his knee and popped the question. Everyone celebrated afterwards with bubbles as the parents all met for the first time.
